I added a new WordPress plug-in tonight. It’s supposed to let you edit your comments for up to fifteen minutes after you post them. If you see anything weird, let me know!

I switched off my anti-spam plug-ins a month or so ago because I was messing around with my WordPress template. Then I got crazy busy, so template development fell by the wayside. Wow. We’re talking HUNDREDS of spam comments a day, to the point that real comments were almost getting lost in the shuffle.

I added the Now Reading plugin to my blog today. It requires a widget-friendly template and the Widgets plugin, but in general, it was very easy to install. I have NO idea how this happened, but somehow my user profile got all snarled up, which caused the rich text editor to be deactivated. I haven’t touched my profile since I did the WordPress upgrade a few weeks ago, so some other process must’ve done it. I still suspect that rather ill-behaved comment spam [...]
