Interdimensional lipstick

Mar 2nd, 2008 by Lynne

iTunes:  In My Dreams, by Dokken

Sometime right before we moved last October, I lost my favorite lipstick. I looked everywhere and just couldn’t find it. Since it was fairly small, I assumed it had dropped behind a cabinet or maybe had fallen out of my purse. But after the ironing board wormhole incident last January, I should have known better.

Just yesterday, I was back over at the old house to pick up some flower pots, and in the middle of the freakin’ yard, in the same place I have crossed two dozen times in the last four months, what did I find?  The lipstick. There’s NO way it was sitting there all this while because I would have seen it. I mean, when I crossed the yard yesterday, this thing stuck out like a stick of red neon.

The endpoint of the wormhole has obviously moved from the bedroom closet to the side yard. :-) I hope whoever borrowed my lipstick enjoyed it. I had to throw it away because I just wasn’t sure what effects interdimensional travel would have on its chemical properties.

I can’t stress enough that you don’t actually want to use lipstick that’s been through that end of a wormhole.

LOLOL. I would have done the same thing, Lynne. You don’t know what is on that lipstick and where it’s been.

Too true, Michelle! I guess I’ll have to find time to go to the mall and buy a replacement, now that I know it’s not just simply lost!
