John and I usually aren’t the types to get cold feet about a decision. Maybe it’s something to do with both of us being Fire signs? (He’s very Leo; I’m way Aries.)
Last Thursday, we both caught a major case of cold feet about the new house. We even deleted all our blog posts about it, because we were so broken-hearted about changing our minds.
Well, the deal is back on, and we’re closing on Friday and moving in on Saturday. Heh. This week is going to be completely INSANE.
Let’s hope the only cold feet from here on are the ones we’ll get from trying to swim in November!

Holy cow! If you don’t want it, I’ll take it! Awesome.
Glad you like it, Tessa! It’s too bad we didn’t buy it back in August, though. Having a pool during that horridly hot weather would’ve made things a bit more bearable.
The views in this house are just amazing. I still can’t quite believe we’re going to live there.
Thank God, I haven’t lost my mind–’coz I sure came back here for the pleasure of looking at that view I KNEW I’d seen here, and it was gone!
Have a good move, lol!
The only insane part will be moving the dogs and cats, and trying to explain/apologize. I think it’s hilarious that they will move in before we do.
Glad you’re back on track to get that house. It’s gorgeous.
Now I just hope you actually have the water to fill the pool. Things are looking pretty bleak down that way.
It’s been pouring here off and on since the night before last, James. That’s good, but I’m guessing this week’s rain doesn’t begin to undo the water shortage. I’ve had occasion to visit the authority here, and their graph shows the local reservoir at its lowest level EVAR.
Someday we may be drinking outta that pool.
Hi, Raine! We’ll be posting more pictures as soon as we can.
Thanks for the good wishes! :-)
Hi, James! We’re hoping the recent rains will have filled the pool back up to a normal level. It wasn’t BAD the last time I was over there, but it could definitely use a bit more water.
The pool looks lovely. This water shortage thing going around is scary. Thank God for the rain. :)
Hi, Edie! When you get done with the rain, could you send us some more? We’re a few zillion gallons low. :-)
