Wow. Things got awfully busy right after my last post. I pulled an all-nighter at work on Friday, worked part of Saturday, and then pulled a near all-nighter on Tuesday. Zoinks!
I don’t usually talk shop on my blog, for reasons I’ve mentioned before, so I won’t go into what happened except to say that I had a sudden increase in responsibilities. I think I’m all caught up now.
I do believe it’s time for a bubble bath and a glass of Pinot Grigio. :-) And if I have a spare brain cell left afterward, maybe I’ll read some more Bertie Russell.
Needless to say, I haven’t done squat for writing since last week!

Wow lady. . . sounds like you need some sleep after that bath and wine!
Hope things slow down and you can put pen to paper soon.
Zoinks!
I’m going to bed even though my house isn’t very clean yet, even though I have an interior designer coming over to look at the house over lunch tomorrow.
Yes, I’m tired enough to think that I’ll wake up early tomorrow morning and whip everything into shape in a burst of energy. Pray for me.
Glad to hear a peep from your direction. Hopefully the wine and the bath were good to you after all that work.
Ugh. I know that feeling! Hope you’ve found some blissful rest.
Hi, Pam! Yep, it was a crazy week, but I’ve got characters talking again, so I’m sure I’ll make some time now to get things written down before these guys clam up again. :-)
You have a designer, James? Wow, you’re serious about this home improvement thing, aren’t you? :-)
We refuse to decorate until we get a new house. This one’s going to be bulldozer-fodder.
Hiya, Sara! Yes, they were, and then my sister and I went to a day spa for facials on Saturday. I should’ve had ‘em do a massage, too.
Hi, Kate! Yep, things are almost back to normal. Umm…whatever “normal” is around here. :-)
I’m afraid that “upgrading” me to Windows Vista last night spent all the relaxation capital that Lynne earned. Despite the best efforts of Microsoft, though, she has given me a working computer.
