Probably not for all tastes

John and I saw Tenacious D's The Pick of Destiny today, and although we laughed ourselves silly, I'm not sure everyone would enjoy it as much as we did. I saw a few people walk out, as a matter of fact. We both love musician humor and are huge fans of Tenacious D's standup act, so it was pretty much a given that we'd like the movie. I particularly enjoyed all the in-jokes and references to classic heavy metal. (On edit: And the appearances by Meatloaf and Ronnie James Dio!)
Movies like this make me want to break out the Strat and start building up some calluses again. (Oww!) Or maybe I can at least persuade John to play it. I came home from work one day and thought he was blasting some AC/DC on the stereo, but it was actually just him playing the Strat.
