The first things I did on the way home from the Breast Cancer 3 Day
In order:
- Found the closest Quik Trip
- Flushed a REAL toilet (Quite the luxury after three days of Porta-Potties)
- Brushed my teeth (Ever tried brushing your teeth in the rain?)
- Bought the biggest Diet Coke they sell (I may never drink Gatorade again!)
I'll post a more detailed wrap-up of the event tomorrow. My team members were wonderful and great fun. If it hadn't been for them, I wouldn't have had nearly as good an experience.
Now I'm gonna go eat the pizza and brownies my wonderful husband cooked for me, and then get into a long, hot bath.

John made you a pizza and brownies??? Hope your
feet are doing okay now. Sounds like you
had a great time, despite all the aches and weather
burps.

Now Lynne understands how something can absolutely suck and still be great fun at the same time, something I didn’t discover until I went into the Army. On the whole, as a wise man once said, I’d rather be in Philadelphia.

Hi, LaDonna! Yes, I had a great time, and I still need to make a blog post about it, don’t I? :-)

he have a thing for May West? And yes, Lynne,
